I knew from an early age that I wanted to design houses. I have been sketching floorplans and devouring house magazines for as long as I can remember. After college I tried my hand at interior design and quickly learned that soft finishes were not my passion. The projects that allowed me to rework the footprint always brought me more pleasure than the ones that had me pairing draperies with rugs.

In 2016 I decided to fine tune my skills and went back to school to study Drafting and Design. Since then, I have had the opportunity to rework many homes in the community as well as design custom house plans for multiple clients. I feel a sense of joy and satisfaction watching people’s ideas and dreams come to fruition.

Over the years I have met many amazing skilled tradesmen. They are the ones that make it all happen – and most often with a smile on their face. It is my goal, through this blog, to highlight those who work behind the scenes, day in and day out, to ensure that each new home, each remodel, and each client has a voice and that through their handiwork, visions are brought to life.
